Gastronomy:
In the ancient seafaring tradition of the town and the fishing wealth of its coasts together with an excellent garden, is the foundation of its gastronomy. In Peñiscolana cuisine, the all i Pebre de Monkfish or pulpitos (Polpet ') stand out, the fish suquet or remescló, as well as shellfish, sea dates, snails (' caragol punxent '), mussels, crayfish, etc.
The different rice dishes in their seafood varieties, the arrosejat or Arroz a banda, the omnipresent paella and the fideuá, are also a fundamental part of the diet of these lands.
